A gazebo with a brazier in the country, do it yourself: how to build?

A gazebo with a brazier – the perfect option for fans of kebabs. Installation of mangala inside the gazebo will make it comes to a favorite dish in any weather. The presence of such a design will allow excellent time with its loved ones and friends at any time of the year.

Before starting the construction of any construction in the country, you need to make a plan. It is better to arrange a gazebo in such a way that its entrance is located opposite the door of the house – it will be more convenient to carry out and enter the dishes and products. Too close location to the house or adjacent area is undesirable due to smoke and noise, which may not like others. However, it is not necessary to place a gazebo away from home too – for a celebration, additional furniture may be required, which will be inconvenient to drag over long distances.

After the location and sizes are determined, go directly to construction. It is necessary to pre-prepare all the drawings on which it is recommended to specify the slightest details of the building, including the dimensions. Even before the start of construction, it is worth thoroughly thinking how to step by step to look at the construction of a structure – this will help not miss anything.

Choose the type of foundation

Even such an easy building as a gazebo needs the foundation.

Instructions on how to choose the type of foundation, actually looks quite simple:

  1. If the gazebo is made of lightweight materials (cellular polycarbonate, metal rods, wood), it is enough to install piles to maintain the design.
  2. Use in the construction of a large amount of brick or stone requires fill at the base of the concrete slab.
  3. Under the closed winter terrace of bricks should lay a ribbon foundation.

Regardless of the selected type of construction, it is necessary to take care of a solid foundation for a furnace capable of withstanding its weight. This is especially true when using a ribbon or pile foundation.

To do this, in a place where the brazier will stand, it is necessary to dug a deepening depth of about 40 cm and fall asleep with sand. Then we smear gravel, trambam. On top We put the reinforcement with a thickness of 150-200 mm and fill with concrete.

Installing piles

We plan the size of the future gazebos and with the help of a drill we drill 4 holes in the corners of the design. In the resulting deepening, install the poles, we put a crushed stone and sand, put a formwork. Install the rebar of the reinforcement and fill them with concrete. If you buy an asbestos-cement pipe, you can shorten the exercise costs of the reference pillar.

Reinforced concrete cottage piles can be installed even without deepening, but in this case a special welding machine will be required.

After pouring the concrete on piles, a timber or metal profile is stacked. It turns out a square frame that will serve as the basis for the construction of the construction.

Installation of a whole plate

For a foundation from a solid concrete slab, it is necessary to remove the soil layer throughout the area allotted for the future structure. It is advisable to add 300-400 mm on sides for greater construction stability. Such an installation will prevent the ingress of moisture and pollution on the foundation and will prevent corrosion and rotting materials.

After it is ready to be a depth of 300-400 mm, we fall asleep the whole area of sand. The following layer is stacked. Then set the reinforcement and formwork, towering over the ground by 150-200 mm. Pour concrete, watching its uniform distribution over the entire surface.

Setting the foundation of a ribbon type

Ribbon foundation is suitable for small stationary buildings of a closed type made of bricks or a rounded log.

First dig up around the perimeter of the future gazebos trench 200-300 mm wide. Then tamper the earth inside. Fall asleep sand, gravel. Put the reinforcement and formwork. Fall inside the resulting construction concrete. End of the reinforcement leave open – in the subsequent to them will be attached to the frame of the arbor. Day after 3-4, after the complete pouring of the concrete, the formwork can be dismantled.

After installing the foundation with the use of concrete, it must be coated with a layer of waterproofing. Ruberoid, polyethylene, bitumen mastic are used as materials. It is necessary that the water deposited on concrete does not come into contact with other structural parts of the structure.

Erecting wooden walls

After installing the foundation, go to the installation of carrier racks. Wood – the most suitable material for the arbor, because its cost is lower compared to other materials, and it will look more natural.

For the racks should be purchased a wooden ram 150 by 150 mm or rounded logs of the same section. Confirm them to the foundation by anchor bolts.

On the resulting strapping, laugs from a bar 100 per 100 mm, which will serve as a basis for the floor. Now install the columns with a height of at least 250 cm. Strengthen the resulting design with additional strapping at an altitude of 100-150 cm. To enhance, you can install additional diagonal bars inside the arbor. We make the second strapping at the top of the vertical columns. It is needed for mounting rafters, which are the base of the roof.

Walls can be made of logs, boards, timber, tinted with grille. You can leave open both one and all sides of the gazebo.

To install the mantle inside such a gazebo, you should remember fire safety. All details of the arbor are covered with flame retardant, and around the location of the future mangal are placed additionally metal sheets.

To prevent rotting of wood, the gazebo should be soaked with oil, and then cover the oil paint and a layer of yacht varnish. This procedure on damaged areas is carried out annually.

Gazebo on a metal frame

Erectation of such a gazebo will require the presence of a welding machine.

For the strapping it will take a metal pricing section 100 per 100 mm. It can be consolidated by anchors or weld to the open ends of the reinforcement. We weld the support racks. We strengthen them on the reasons at the top and bottom of the design with metal corners. Also, as in the wooden structure, we put an additional bunch and the base of the roof.

After welding work, the whole design must be treated with primer and paint – This will prevent the emergence of rust on metal.

To obtain a closed winter arbor, the frame is wearing from inside plywood or a wooden bar, clapboard, and Outside Freeding siding panels or polycarbonate. As a heater, you can put additional gasket from mineral wool. All combustible materials are better to have away from the mangala and must be treated with anti-fire impregnations. Paul in such a gazebo, erected on a concrete plate, decorates tile.

Brick or stone gazebo

Stone gazebo requires a lot of strength, time and cash, but does not require additional costs for annual processing, and the service life of such a structure is higher, compared with others, several times.

After the construction of the ribbon foundation laid waterproofing. Now begin to build pillars or brickwork walls. Options here are many. For an open arbor, it will be enough to install pillars, starting them under the roof. Someone will prefer to fully post one wall from the mangal and a cutting table.

Closed gazebo might look like a full-fledged house.

We build roof

The roof in the gazebo is primarily necessary to protect against rain and the scorching sun. It can be a duplex, holm, dome, tent, spherical, single, duplex, robust. At the same time, it should be easy and to withstand the load from the underlying snow. In the roof of the arbor with the brazier, you should consider an extra hole for the installation of chimney. Thanks to the installation of a metallic umbrella over chimney, you can cook kebabs in any weather.

The following coatings are traditionally used as a material for roof cladding:

  • metal sheets;
  • Flexible tile;
  • Sheet iron;
  • Galvanized sheets.

In the gazebo with a small area of the roof details, it is better to fasten on the ground, and then set them upstairs already in the assembled form, but this is possible only in the presence of a lift. Otherwise, all works are produced at altitude.

Making a mangal

The easiest brazier – portable of sheet iron. It can be made independently or to order. This option is perfect for accommodation in the finished gazebo.

Stationary Brick Mangal It is advisable to install the flooring and the construction of walls.

A small brand can be postponed without the use of cement-sandy solution. To do this, first put the refractory brick tightly to each other. Then we make on the sides of the sides, putting bricks or plastle or sideways. Such a model is convenient because it is easy to disassemble and collect, increase or decrease the height, it is easily cleaned from ash.

For the oven it will be necessary to make a separate foundation. Putting bricks immediately after the final pouring of the concrete, it is desirable at the same time with the construction of the walls of the arbor. Chimney of such a manga can become an additional support column. Brown with floors are put iron sheet, then make the ashpan and firek. Thread metal sheets are suitable for the furnace.

Special attention should be paid to the installation of chimney, dampers and exhaust, because their improper location can lead to absence of traction.
