Overview Drills “Enkor”

Drills are a necessary tool when conducting various construction work. There are a wide variety of similar elements that allow you to process certain materials, make holes of different depths. Today we will talk about the drills “Eckor”, about their main features.

Drilling “ENKOR” are special cutting tools that make it possible to make holes of various diameters in the materials (wood, metal). A variety of construction drill types can be produced with all sorts of shanks (cylindrical, conical) and working parts (spiral, ring, fountain, crown). Drills are made of high quality stainless steel. Sometimes additional components add to such a basis to make the product as long as possible and reliable during operation.

Assortment overview

Currently, the company “ENKOR” produces a variety of construction drill models.

Step models

Such products are a detail with a small tip having a cone shape. Wherein Its surface consists of several metal stages of different diameters, but the same thickness (as a rule, only 13 such elements on one drill). End of shocking nozzle. Such a drill can be used to create recesses of different diameters without rearrangement of the cutting element. At each stage of the instrument there is a special labeling.

The shank of stepped models has small lies, they protect against slipping in the cartridge of the device.

Drills for metal

The product assortment is most often found drills with a spiral working part design. They are made from high-speed high-performance steel base. Metal drills from this manufacturer, as a rule, have 2 channels of a spiral type, intended for timely independent drainage of chips, and 2 cutting edges. Most of the metal models are produced with a shank in the form of a thin cylinder.

Drill Forstener

Such drills have the form of a metal structure, in the central part of which is the edge. Perpendicular to him placed sharpened blade. It is a zigzag form cutter. Forster drill is often used to handle wood. In the process of work, the product is first strong cut into a wooden surface, an outdoor direction, then there are circular gutters – they do not allow the nozzle to change their position. Only after that the cutter begins to make a deepening in the surface. The type of shank they are usually cylindrical.

On concrete

Thin drills intended for processing concrete structures more often have a small diameter. Their work area is performed in a spiral form. These varieties are better to use for drills, which have a shock function. An ordinary tool will not be able to handle a durable concrete. Unlike standard wood or metal models, these details have small attacks made of carbide materials, they are located on the terminus. These additional elements are needed in order to break through concrete surfaces, while at the same time significantly increasing the service life of the cutting part.

All drills on concrete are covered with a special winwood surfacing (it includes cobalt and tungsten). It is applied only to the head of the products. Such a composition makes the cutting zone more durable and reliable, it becomes resistant to abrasion in the drilling process.

Drills with zenker

Such models are often sold with whole sets. They are used when processing wooden items. Senkers have a form of small nozzles consisting of a variety of small thin blade. Such an element allows you to create recesses of conical and cylindrical shape if necessary. Drills with zenker slightly increase the diameter of already made holes in the material. At the same time, they significantly increase the quality of the surface without forming even small irregularities and scratches.

These samples are thin cutters equipped with two cutting edges and a centering tip. Finger products for drilling are usually produced with a hexagon shank, it provides the most reliable fixation in the cartridge drill. In the process of work, the chips will need to periodically remove independently. Such drills are able to make a recess to 110 millimeters long. The diameter of the holes can be from 6 to 40 millimeters. These varieties have a significant disadvantage: they are subject to jamming with high speed of revolutions, so work with such a tool should be carried out as little as possible and constantly check it.

Tips for choosing

When buying a suitable ENCOR drill, you should take into account some important aspects. Be sure to consider the type of materials that you plan to handle this tool. After all, they are all divided into metal models, on concrete, on wood. Also today special models for glass and ceramics are available. Consider the size of the drill. For more accurate and thin work, samples with a small diameter are most often selected. If you process solid and durable surfaces with a significant thickness, then you should give preference to durable drills with special nozzles and with a large diameter.

Before buying, pay attention to the type of shank. Models with a conical tip are most popular among users – they provide excellent centers, allow the tool to not jump in the process, ensure maximum drilling accuracy.

Purpose the surface in advance. It must be absolutely smooth, without chips, scratches and cracks. If the tool has similar defects, then the quality of work will be low, and the holes made are uneven and non-accuracy.
