Modern stainless wire is made not just from steel with a minimum level of corrosion. It is always still alloyed at a high level, strongly resistant material.   • cold riding products;

  • oxidized products;

The designations of steel wire according to GOST 1972 are as follows:

  • X – cold rental;

  • T – heat treatment (including oxidized-type products with signs of closer);

  • TC – light metal, not containing oxides and deprived of signs of concerns;

  • P – increased production accuracy.

The weight (mass) of the steel stainless wire of the circular cross section with a length of 100 m is taken as (depending on the diameter):

  • 0.5 mm – 0.31 kg;

  • 1 mm – 0.62 kg;

  • 1.5 mm – 1.4 kg;

  • 2 mm – 2, 48 kg;

  • 2.5 mm – 3.88 kg;

  • 3 mm – 5.58 kg;

  • 4 mm – 9.93 kg;

  • 6 mm – 22.3 or 22.6 kg.

The smallest possible diameter is 0.3 mm. But it’s rather difficult to find such a wire. Most often abroad use wire made of metal category AISI 321. In the domestic practice of its close analogues 08x18n10t or 12x18n10t. Cold rental is a diameter of 0.51 to 1.01 mm, and a hot-treated from 0.3 to 6 mm. When labeling steels, those substances that are less than 1% are allowed not to indicate. Alloy 12x18N10T deciphered as:

  • no more than 0.12% carbon;

  • up to 1% titanium;

  • exactly 18% chromium;

  • Exactly 10% nickel;

  • Everything else is iron.

Despite chemical inertness, the stainless wire deserves a neat appeal. Its in accordance with the diameter wound onto the coils or pack in the machines.

Stability of the stainless material at a large temperature and exposure to various substances allows you to confidently use it when issuing important parts and electrical appliances.
