The disadvantages of moisture-resistant composite material include its toxicity and harmfulness. Its production technology provides for the use of formaldehyde and melaminformaldehyde resins. These substances, stand out in the environment, negatively affect human health.

The most dangerous moisture-resistant plates include products with E3 emission level (formaldehyde isolated from 1.25 to 2.87 mg / m³). In European countries, the production of such materials is prohibited. The most secure health is the building materials with the EMISSIA class E1 and E2. A greater volume of formaldehyde in the environment is allocated in the first year of use of plates.

The better plywood?
