Lavazza Tierra Selection
Rating: 4.9

Why is it: Medium-roasted Brazilian Arabica, which belongs to the premium class.
This coffee is grown on plantations in the tropical forests of South America. Despite being a blend, the sources of grains are located in approximately the same region, which ensures the same taste regardless of batch. The mixture contains only Arabica, has a medium roasting, which does not lead to overheating and the appearance of bitterness or sour taste.
Coffee taste is typical for blends from Peru and Colombia. Characterized by a dense body, but with a delicate flavor. Fine chocolate notes, typical of tropical South American blends.
Comes in beans and ground. Has already undergone the necessary roasting, so do not overheat it additionally with automatic mills – this can lead to the loss of the characteristic delicate flavor. The packaging is airtight, no reclosure is supported.
Advantages
- Harvested from plantations that share the same geographic and climatic conditions;
- Has an optimal roast, no bitterness, no acidity;
- Pleasant chocolate aftertaste.
Disadvantages
- Paper foil packaging, does not support resealing (requires transferring the coffee to a jar or similar container for storage);
- It is better to grind coffee beans with a hand grinder to avoid overheating and extra roasting.
Diemme Caffe Miscela Excellent
Rating: 4.9

Why it is: A special blend, perfect for espresso.
Blended coffee. The blend includes beans from Colombian, Costa Rican, Brazilian, Kenyan and Tanzanian plantations. However, there is always only one kind of coffee: Arabica.
Such a complex blend is necessary to create the perfect espresso blend. Coffee made from these beans has a deep, full and rich flavor without intense bitterness or sourness, as well as excellent invigorating properties. The perfect blend for the morning cup of classic Italian espresso.
Rich flavor is supported by rich aroma with floral, caramel and nut notes. Nevertheless, they do not dominate the bouquet, leaving more of a pleasant aftertaste.
Medium roasted coffees. The blend contains relatively large beans. Flavor may vary slightly, depending on the size of grind and cooking time. Recommended for use with hand grinders.
Advantages
- The perfect blend to create a delicious and flavorful espresso;
- Lack of astringency, bitterness and sourness in taste;
- Consistent quality from batch to batch.
Flaws
- Overpriced;
- Sensitivity to grind size, grinder type and brewing time.
Compagnia Dell’Arabica Jamaica Blue Mountain
Rating: 4.9

Why it’s there: An elite blend of coffee from Jamaican plantations.
Truly a premium grade of coffee, which will be appreciated by fans of this invigorating and flavorful beverage. Entirely in line with the Jamaican Blue Mountain variety – because it is harvested from high altitude plantations in Jamaica – it offers a rich, complex and recognizable flavor.
The aroma of this brewed coffee combines delicate vanilla and almond notes, which are further revealed and supplemented with the smell of cocoa and Caribbean rum. The luxurious bouquet of smells is completed by a trail of expensive, aged tobacco. This blend looks good in a classic espresso, but it’s better to brew it by hand, without using a carob machine – the hot steam won’t let the blend develop its full potential.
Is a classic arabica. Blend contains only one kind of coffee. Produced in limited batches, which explains its rarity and price – it’s one of the most expensive drinks in the ranking.
Advantages
- Mild, full-bodied, recognizable taste;
- Luxurious, rich, revealing flavor;
- Truly luxurious and premium coffee.
Disadvantages
- Perhaps the high price is more expensive than other varieties, but you should consider that this coffee belongs to the premium varieties;
- Not readily available, due to limited production.
alombini Gran Bar
Rating: 4.8

Why it is: A coffee blend that creates a soft and airy crema when brewing.
Unlike other coffees in the rating, this blend is recommended for making espresso coffee drinks such as ristretto, cappuccino, macchiato, etc. This is due to the characteristics of the blend. Coffee should create a thin, light and delicate crema, which helps to enjoy its luxurious flavor.
consisting of 90% of the classic Arabica and 10% of the Robusta, which tones it up and intensifies its flavor, is also suitable for Italian espresso lovers. This beverage has a rich, but mild flavor, devoid of sourness and excessive bitterness. But its main advantage is the characteristic crema that forms when brewed and has a fine texture.
Has a medium roast. Suitable for brewing in coffee machines as well as in a carafe. Comes in a hermetically sealed vacuum packing that preserves the flavor of the drink.
Advantages
- Suitable for making classic Italian espresso;
- Creates a thin, fragrant crema;
- One of the most famous brands, supplies coffee to the Vatican.
Disadvantages
- Not suitable for long storage in a leaky container, it oxidizes – which leads to bitterness or other changes in taste.
Danesi Gold
Rating: 4.8

Why it is: Easy to make dark roasted coffee.
The main advantage of this coffee blend is the ease of preparation. You don’t need any special knowledge to enjoy its rich, full-bodied flavor. The blend is suitable for preparation in coffee machines as well as for brewing in turks.
Blend contains only Arabica beans from Brazilian and Central American plantations. Moreover, the blend includes a little bit of Kenyan beans. Thanks to them, the flavor of the drink becomes richer, and the aftertaste – more delicate and long. The blend is suitable for making both classic espresso, and a variety of coffee drinks based on it, including cappuccino.
Despite the fact that the roasting of coffee beans is dark, the characteristic bitterness or sourness is not observed. Specially selected blend of Kenyan Arabica helps get rid of them. Coffee comes vacuum-packed, which protects it from oxidation upon contact with air.
Advantages of
- Easy to prepare, suitable for the coffee machine and for the carafe;
- Vacuum packaging with valve to protect against oxidation during transport;
- Balanced taste, no bitterness or sour aftertaste.
Flaws
- Relatively strong because of its dark roasting, many people may not like it – but it’s good for making espresso drinks.
