Vestfrost VFWC 150 Z2

Rating: 4.9

Vestfrost VFWC 150 Z2

Vestfrost VFWC 150 Z2 is undoubtedly the best of the presented wine cabinets. Except for the design, everything is perfect: the capacity, the economy, the noise level, and even the technological design. Two chambers with a capacity of 147 liters, and all that is taken up by 5 large wooden shelves with space for 46 bottles of fine wine. Temperature is regulated by a compressor from 5 to 18 degrees Celsius.

Electronic control with pushbuttons and display. To fit the cabinet into the framework of the room, you can re-hang the door to open on the other side. In addition, there is a locking system to protect the contents from children (or vice versa). The ventilation has a charcoal filter that absorbs dust particles and cleans the air of impurities. All this positively affects the preservation of wine. Ah, yes, we almost forgot! Despite its large size, the noise level of this cabinet is 39 dB. You should definitely take a closer look if you have a large collection of good wines.

Advantages

  • Very capacious (46 bottles);
  • The presence of a charcoal filter in the ventilation system;
  • The possibility to re-hang the door;
  • childproofing;
  • high quality and reliable construction.

Disadvantages

  • high price.

Caso WineDuett Touch 21

Rating: 4.8

CASO WINEDUETT TOUCH 21

Very interesting and elegant wine storage box from Caso. It is expensive, but still a very interesting model to study. Its design applies 7 metal shelves with 3 bottle wells per shelf. Two temperature zones allow placing several sorts of wines and selecting unique storage modes for them. Electronics with touch screen display is responsible for the control.

The temperature in Caso WineDuett Touch 21 is adjustable from 7 to 18 degrees Celsius. Energy consumption of class B with 168 kWh per year. Overall, it is optimal considering the capacity and the difficulty in organizing a two-compartment storage. But the noise level is pumped up: at times when the ventilation is on, it reaches 45 dB. However, this small disadvantage is compensated by the mentioned advantages, as well as the presence of an anti-vibration system.

Advantages

  • maintaining the temperature with minimum error in the volume of the chamber;
  • attractive design;
  • Availability of anti-vibration system.

Disadvantages

  • Noisy enough;
  • high price.

Cellar Private CP021-2T

Rating: 4.7

Cellar Private CP021-2T

Cellar’s two-zone wine cabinet holds 21 classic-sized bottles. It’s made of metal with a tinted glass door and weighs as much as 18.5 kilograms. The reason for this is simple: to create separate storage areas it is necessary to complicate the design a little.

The minimum and maximum temperatures in the cabinet are 7 and 18 degrees Celsius respectively. The total capacity is 58 liters, and in terms of efficiency Private CP021-2T is slightly worse than Vestfrost VFWC 28 Z1. But there is a touch screen with electronic temperature control, and the price has gone up by no more than 25% despite the complexity of the design and the materials used. Noise level does not exceed 32 dB and it is just a great buy for your home.

Advantages

  • reasonable price;
  • 2 separate storage chambers;
  • Convenient touch control;
  • low noise level.

Disadvantages

  • not a completely rational use of the internal volume.

Kitfort KT-2404

Rating: 4.7

Kitfort KT-2404

Another representative of the company Kitfort, but with two equal temperature control zones. The cabinet holds 12 bottles, distributed harmoniously over 33 liters of total volume of the chambers. Temperature can be adjusted from 8 to 18 degrees Celsius with pushbutton switches, and all information is displayed.

Despite the good layout and the use of wood as a shelf, in all other respects the cabinet is not very optimal. For example, it consumes 183 kWh of energy per year and makes 41 dB of noise. This is quite a lot, and therefore it is advisable to place it outside the bedroom or hall. KT-2404 – the case when the functionality and features are fully reflected in the price. However, this does not make it a bad thing, but just adds a few specific operating conditions.

Advantages

  • capacity;
  • low price;
  • good assembly quality.

Disadvantages

  • high noise level;
  • Quite high power consumption, despite the small volume.

Vestfrost VFWC 28 Z1

Rating: 4.6

VESTFROST VFWC 28 Z1

A more serious wine cabinet with an internal capacity of 62 liters and 28 places for placing wines. Inexpensive, but it packs all the basic functions of a normal climate storage unit. The temperature in it is regulated in a small range from 12 to 18 degrees Celsius, which corresponds to the normal climate zone. The control is not touch screen, but it is convenient, on the mechanical pushbutton switches. The temperature zone is the same, and here it is worth realizing that inside there will still be a slight difference in temperature from top to bottom.

The body of the Vestfrost VFWC 28 Z1 is made of metal, but the shelves inside are wooden. On the one hand, it is an interesting solution that reduced the cost of the cabinet. On the other hand, the durability of such shelves is questioned. Still, there is moisture inside and with minimal damage to the top layer, the material can get damp and loose. The undisputed advantage is the noise level of 25 dB. And anyway: the installation is great!

Advantages

  • low noise level;
  • Large chamber capacity;
  • reasonable price;
  • solid build quality.

Disadvantages

  • Preservation of the wooden shelves.

Kitfort KT-2402

Rating: 4.5

Kitfort KT-2402

Wine cooler from Kitfort relies on the beautiful, modern design and convenient climate control. Its volume is 35 liters, designed to hold 8 bottles of wine in a standard bottle. Cooling here is thermoelectric with temperature control from 8 to 18 degrees Celsius.

Kitfort KT-2402 consumes 121 kWh of electricity per year. Inside it creates conditions that match the indicators of normal and subnormal climate. Noise levels of less than 25dB, an excellent result by the standards of a wine cabinet.

Advantages

  • 11,5 kilograms in weight;
  • beautiful modern design with blue backlighting;
  • low noise level;
  • attractive price.

Disadvantages

  • no humidity control.

Cavanova CV-004

Rating: 4.5

CAVANOVA CV-004

The Cavanova CV-004 cabinet works for both heating and cooling, while consuming quite a lot of electrical energy. Its thermoregulation is based on the Peltier effect – plates are used in the construction where when current is applied to one side is cooling and the other side is heating. In this regard, the efficiency of the refrigerator may be lower than that of absorption units.

The cabinet is designed to hold only 4 bottles of wine. Seems small, but even non-standard shaped vessels can fit in there. The shelves are metal, and the temperature is controlled by push-button switches. The total internal volume of the model is only 12 liters.

Advantages

  • It is possible to put bottles of different shapes;
  • Availability of the antivibration system and the humidity control;
  • large and handy display.

Disadvantages

  • high price;
  • Small internal volume;
  • high power consumption.

Tesler WCV-080

Rating: 4.4

Tesler WCV-080

Tesler gray metallic wine cabinet holds up to 8 bottles of wine and has an interior volume of 21 liters. The temperature in it is kept due to the electronics in the range from 7 to 18 degrees Celsius. Its indicator is shown on the display Circulation and distribution of cold air should occur throughout the chamber, but some areas have a deviation from the set temperature mode by a couple of degrees. The reason for this is the presence of corners and disturbed air flow. However, this is not critical and does not affect the preservation of wines.

Energy consumption of the Tesler WCV-080 corresponds to class A+ and is approximately 110 kWh per year. We recommend buying this wine cabinet for those who do not want to overpay for design.

Advantages

  • high-quality budget cabinet;
  • low noise level of the cooling system;
  • The presence of the temperature indicator;
  • 3 shelves to accommodate wine.

Disadvantages

  • not to be found.

Dunavox DAT-6.16C

Rating: 4.3

DUNAVOX DAT-6.16C

One-piece metal cabinet, designed for storage of 6 bottles of wine. It is electronically controlled and consumes no more than 97 kWh of energy per year. The temperature regime throughout the chamber is uniform, but in the corners of the value can fluctuate within 2 degrees Celsius. The total volume of the section is 16 liters.

Dunavox DAT-6.16C belongs to climate class SN, which corresponds to the subnormal climate. It has a display that shows the current temperature, so you can easily keep track of it. The noise level during operation does not exceed 38 dB – this is not the best in the segment, but it certainly will not annoy you.

Advantages

  • convenient and compact cabinet;
  • temperature indicator;
  • low power consumption.

Disadvantages

  • cooling in a small temperature range.
