*Review of the best according to the editors. About the selection criteria. This material is subjective, is not an advertisement and does not serve as a guide to purchase. Before buying, it is necessary to consult with a specialist.
We decided to dedicate this review to built-in electric cooktops. For our rating were selected 12 best models from leading domestic and foreign manufacturers. In this case, for the convenience of users, we have divided all the items into two groups – full-size hobs with 4 burners (8 nominees) and compact built-in electric stoves with 2 and 3 burners (4 nominees).
Regardless of the size, configuration and functionality of a particular model, we adhered to one key rule – as a matter of principle, we have not considered electric stoves with mechanical control, as well as options with stainless steel or enameled metal base. The reason is very simple – the moral and technological obsolescence of these categories of equipment.
In the ranking were only glass ceramic hobs with touch control, as they meet modern requirements for aesthetics and safety, as well as have improved performance and technical indicators compared to previous generations of models.
Each model has its own characteristics and advantages, and is considered the best solution in terms of price/quality/functionality ratio in its product group.
In addition to brand awareness and reliability, we focused on one of the key criteria for selection – the practical experience of real customers. For this purpose, we have analyzed consumer reviews of products, taken from public sources – the official websites of manufacturers, as well as from popular online services Yandex.Market, otziv-.
The order of models is purely conventional and can not serve as an indicator of the superiority of one built-in electric panel over another.
How to choose an electric cooktop
When choosing an electric cooktop, you should consider such important criteria:
- Overall dimensions and quantity of burners.
- Type of heating element.
- Functionality.
The first important criterion– These are the dimensions of the cooker hob, which determine how harmoniously the appliances fit in a specific cooking cabinet. Traditional models on 4 burners have the size of the cloth on the outer perimeter of 50×60 cm (this is a generalized size, since the actual size may be 2-3 mm smaller). The size for fitting in each manufacturer is different, and it is indicated on the packaging or in the instruction manual. Despite the general external dimensions, to embed a particular model, it is necessary to cut a rectangle with different sides in the countertop.
Three-burner hobs have a generic dimension of 45×50 cm, and for two-burner models, the outer dimension is 30×50 cm.
More than 98% of electric hobs manufactured today have a glass ceramic cooking zone, under which the heating elements are located. It makes no sense to consider for comparison surfaces with stainless or enameled housing, because this technique is considered outdated and many manufacturers have removed it from production.
Among the heating elements that are installed in modern glass-ceramic panelsThere are only 2 variants:
- Ribbon or Hi-
- ght.
- Induction.
First choice– is a kind of evolution of the traditional heating element, only instead of a spiral and a rod base uses a thin ribbon folded “accordion” and twisted into a spiral. This modification has a larger usable area (it heats faster, uses less energy), and is not prone to burn out and other damages. Among all the previously existing Hi-
Induction coilsare installed on premium-class cooker hobs. They are even more economical than Hi-
An important role in the choice of cooker hob playsFunctionality and practicality in operation. For example, models with slider control are very popular due to the ease of setting and a wide power range (most manufacturers have values from 1 to 9, but some models have an upper threshold of 12 and even 20 positions). Also not superfluous would be a system of locking the control panel from children and the presence of a timer for turning off. Many housewives choose cooktops with variable burner diameters (including an oval-shaped burner for the casserole/potato maker), which allows for different bottom sizes.
The right electric cooktop will not only fit perfectly into any kitchen interior and will last for years, but it will also provide fast, comfortable and safe cooking of your favorite dishes.

Best 4-burner electric hobs
Our review starts with the best glass ceramic hobs for 4 burners with a standard size of 60×50 cm. We have selected 8 models from renowned manufacturers of built-in appliances for the rating. We have chosen the best options in different price ranges and we didn’t look for brand awareness, but we looked at practicality, functionality and feedback from real owners of the appliances.
Hansa BHC66504
Rating: 4.9

The top of our ranking is a Hansa BHC66504 hob from the famous Polish brand with a German name. The model is made in Poland, and the manufacturer provides an official one-year warranty. There are no problems with service and possible repair of products, because Magorta Group (the owner of Hansa and Kaiser brands of equipment) has an extensive network of authorized service centers throughout Russia and the CIS countries.
One of the features that makes this cooktop stand out from other cooktops is its design. In contrast to the traditional black ceramic hobs, the cooking area is painted in gray, all over the surface are the symbols of the zodiac signs, and the working areas of burners are in the form of astrological charts. The Zodiak design first appeared with the company Hansa back in the early 2000s, which brought a sharp increase in sales and high popularity. As we see – the decor is relevant today.
Equipped with two standard burners and two burners of variable diameter (12-18 and 14-21 cm), which allows you to use a large number of pots with different sized bottoms. The controls are located at the bottom in the middle of the panel. Model is equipped with all basic functions, including child lock and automatic shutdown in case of overheating or water on the surface.
The electric panel is equipped with an automatic boiling system. This is a useful option, thanks to which you can avoid boiling over and spilling liquids on the stove. The system monitors the boiling point and independently reduces the heat level, providing further even cooking, which is especially important for the first dishes.
According to reviews from an online resource Yandex.Market, the model has a rating of 4.6, and this hob is recommended for purchase by 86% of users. Among the advantages of technology owners noted the unusual design of the stove, the rapid heating and quality assembly. Among the disadvantages, some respondents noted not very convenient menu, which requires getting used to after operating other electric panels.
The original appearance, automatic boiling and two burners with expansion zones allowed the Hansa BHC66504 cooktop to take one of the top places in our ranking in its price category.
Advantages
- Appearance.
- Automatic boiling.
- 2 burners with variable diameter.
Disadvantages
- Not very convenient control panel (according to consumer reviews).
Hotpoint-Ariston HR 616 X
Rating: 4.8

Continues the review of the best built-in electric hobs for 4 burners model Hotpoint-Ariston HR 616 X from a well-known Italian manufacturer. The official factory warranty on equipment is 1 year, and all maintenance issues can be addressed through one of the service centers, which are available in almost all cities in Russia.
Model has two burners with variable diameter of bottom. The first is the farthest with the possibility of increasing the size from 12 to 21 cm, and the second – with an oval area for duck pans and other suitable dishes.
One of the important moments – the presence of stainless steel trim around the perimeter of the panel. Not only does the frame give the model a stylish look, but it also protects corners and edges from accidental chips (for example when setting or moving pans).
The touch control panel is quite simple and easy to use. For each mode has a separate button, so the user who has never dealt with similar technique, can easily cope with its management. The model has a standard equipment – a timer, lock, emergency shutoff, which is enough for convenient, fast and safe cooking.
According to user reviews, most owners of the hob are absolutely satisfied with the functionality, heating speed and quality of operation, and only some compare this model with an induction hob to find disadvantages. Such a comparison is unacceptable, since these are two completely different devices, which will differ in the principle of operation, technical indicators and type of construction.
We recommend the Hotpoint-Ariston HR 616 X as one of the best models in its price range. Analogues from other manufacturers with the same functionality will cost 30-40% more.
Advantages
- Stainless trim.
- Oval burner for casseroles and expanding radial burner.
- Simple menu control.
- Convenient connection.
Disadvantages
- When switching modes, the sensor can react with a delay of up to 3 seconds.

The next cooktop from our review is the Electrolux EHF 96547 FK from the well-known Swedish concern. The manufacturer provides a standard warranty on its appliances, which is 1 year.
The model is very popular thanks to its high functionality and well-thought-out design. The panel is equipped with two standard burners, one three-circuit and one oval-shaped. This configuration allows you to use almost any dish – from coffee maker, to casserole dish.
The touch control is designed as a slider, which also makes the panel extremely comfortable to use. Thanks to the high sensitivity of sensors the user can set the desired power level with a light touch.
Of the additional options it is worth noting StopGO mode (stop / pause) and automatic boiling, through which the system itself reduces the power level after reaching the boiling point of water in the pot. Another useful option – the two-position timer, which not only works to turn off, but can simply count down the time, which is useful if the user does not know exactly how long you should cook the dish, or independently experiment with different cooking processes.
Despite the fact that the model is made in the traditional form factor, it is worth noting the front beveled edge, which gives the surface a modern and stylish look.
Users have left a large number of reviews on popular online resources. As the advantages are listed German assembly, high functionality, the availability of a mounting kit and ease of operation. The disadvantages some consumers attribute to the high total power consumption when turning on all the burners.

The model is made in the traditional size and equipped with basic features – 4 burners without expansion zones, touch control (individual for each burner) and a timer for switching off with an audible signal. Looks quite stylish and modern hob.

Bosch PKM645FP1R
Rating: 4.7

Another interesting and original hob from the famous German manufacturer Bosch PKM645FP1R. The factory warranty on the surface is 1 year, but as practice shows, consumers rarely call the service center because of the high quality of construction and almost zero defects.
One of the key features of the model – CombiZone mode, which allows you to combine two adjacent burners into a single heating zone. The user can choose not only the heating area, but also the configuration of the circuit – for example, for a pan with a capacity of 2-3 liters, a large cast-iron duck or grill pan with a square bottom. This is a very convenient option, allowing you to individually adjust the size of the heating zone for almost any dish.
The second interesting point – the presence of PowerBoost function, thanks to which one of the burners gets an increased power supply (at the expense of reduced power in the other burner), which allows you to cook 20% faster for a limited time (for example, this is enough to boil water in a kettle or a pot for soup).
The third useful option – ReStart. The principle of its work is slightly similar to the mode “start / pause”, but with the difference that the function is activated independently in case of emergency shutdown of the hob. When restarting the stove offers within 10 seconds to confirm the restoration of previous settings, and continue cooking in the same mode as before the shutdown.
The panel is equipped with an intuitive slider control, as well as a timer for switching off and a control panel lock mode.
According to reviews from an online resource otziv-, the rating of the model is 4.5 points. Users appreciated the multifunctional heating zone for any dish, as well as other useful options of the hob. Some owners of appliances complain about the occasional clicks of the transformer, which can sometimes be heard when the panel is in operation.
We recommend Bosch PKM645FP1R electric cooktop for all fans of German quality and modern technology at a reasonable price.
Advantages
- CombiZone variable heat zone control.
- Increased power burner technology thanks to PowerBoost.

Candy CH 64 BVT
Rating: 4.6

Next in the list of the best electric cooktop model Candy CH 64 BVT from the famous Italian manufacturer. The stove is assembled in Turkey, its official warranty is 1 year, and the minimum service life is 5 years.
The model is made in a modern style, looking laconic and has no extra decorative elements, allowing it to integrate perfectly into a minimalist or high-tech set.
A distinctive feature – an adjustable heating zone with the possibility of combining the two right cooking zones into one. This solution allows you to easily cook on a surface in pots, pans or pans with irregular bottom shape. The circuits of the combined zone are marked with blue lines, as is the touch button that activates the expansion.
Operation of the panel is intuitive and simple that it can be understood by an elderly person or a user who has not previously dealt with similar devices. As additional options, there is a timer to turn off the burners and a child lock.

For example, on the online service Yandex.Market, the panel rating is 4.8 points, and the model itself has been awarded the prestigious “customer’s choice” mark. No principled negative reviews of the hob, but some users complain about the lack of automatic detection of the diameter of the dishes, which is allegedly mentioned in the instructions.

The official guarantee is 2 years, and all questions concerning repairs and maintenance of the appliances can be easily addressed through the network of authorized service centers.
The first thing that attracts the cooktop is the unconventional appearance. Unlike the glossy black, as most analogues, the panel is painted in gray matte, which not only looks original and impressive, but also not as starchy.

The surface is made in Turkey and has an official factory warranty of 2 years, and an extensive network of service centers throughout Russia will help to solve any situation with the service or repair equipment.
We specifically included at least one induction hob in our rating, despite the fact that a separate review could be conducted on this category of appliances. If there is no magnetic bottom cookware on the burners, the stove will automatically shut off. This allows you to boil water faster or provide the most powerful cooking of meat, so that it instantly closed pores and retained juiciness.

If technically possible and desirable, the user can choose one electric panel “Domino” and complement it with a compact grill, WOK-burner, built-in fryer and other functional modules.

Weissgauff HV 431 B
Rating: 4.9

Opens our review of compact hobs Weissgauff HV 431 B. A brand with German roots belongs to a large Russian concern, and the hobs are made in a modern Chinese factory, where they undergo multistage quality control. The next model in our rating is the glass ceramic hob Krona FIDATO 45 BL of the famous German brand. The manufacturer provides an official guarantee of 5 years, which is considered one of the longest terms of all companies, producing stoves.
The first difference between this stove and most analogues – spectacular appearance. This panel can truly be called a designer hob, as instead of traditional rounds and ovals indicating the borders of burners, the entire surface features triangles, geometric shapes of irregular shape and other decorative elements, which give the model a stylish and non-standard look. Despite the atypical design of the cooking surface, it is easy to guess the heating zones and clearly marked dual-circuit burner.
Touch control allows you to individually set the desired mode for each cooking zone, and a timer to turn off (from 1 to 99 minutes) will automate the cooking process. As an additional option, it is worth noting StopGO mode, which allows you to suspend the work of the burner with a single touch of the sensor, and then continue cooking. In fact – it is a pause mode, which preserves the pre-selected power level of heating, which is very convenient when cooking complex dishes, as well as if during the cooking of any of the ingredients must be added in the middle of the process.
According to reviews from various online resources, many users are satisfied with the purchase of this hob and note not only the compact size and original appearance, but also the ease of operation and high heating speed. The disadvantages some owners of the stove include difficulty with maintenance, as well as not always clear operation of the sensors on the control panel.

- Impressive look.
- Intelligent positioning of the cooking zones.
- A burner with an expanding contour.
- StopGO function.

Weissgauff HV 312 B
Rating: 4.7

The next model in our review is the Weissgauff HV 312 B dual-burner glass ceramic hob “Domino”. The model has a sleek design and simple touch control. The distinctive feature of the hob is the presence of a single heating pad with variable diameter, which allows you to use cookware with different size bottoms.
Placement of controls deserves special attention. On the left side is the control for the near burner, and on the right side is the far two-circuit burner. Between them is the timer control panel. This configuration is very convenient and will not accidentally mix up plates. Digital indicators show the power level and the number of minutes before it switches off (if the timer is activated).
According to the reviews of users on the online resources otziv-, and Yandex. Market, most owners of the hob positively evaluated the compactness, ease of operation and ease of use of the device. Among the negative points, many consumers note the lack of mounting locks in the kit (special brackets that securely fix the panel inside the countertop).
We recommend the Weissgauff HV 312 B glass ceramic hob as one of the most affordable built-in two-burner cooktops with one enlarged cooking zone.

- Simple touch control.
- The burner with a double diameter.

It is also worth noting the presence of the option StopGO, which allows you to pause the cooking process and resume it at previous settings.
Most owners of the electric stove have a positive attitude towards the appearance of the model, the ease of operation and the rapid heating of the burners. As a disadvantage, some consumers point out too little time of activity of the touch panel, which goes into standby mode after 3 seconds of inactivity. The user at first it will be quite difficult to set the desired level of heating with a lack of familiarity, as the panel will turn off after 3 seconds, and the setting will have to be repeated many times.
