*Review of the best according to the editorial board. About the selection criteria. This material is subjective, is not an advertisement and does not serve as a guide to purchase. Consultation with an expert before purchase is necessary.
Vacuum cleaners with cyclone filters have replaced less technological bag models. Thanks to the fact that the designers managed to minimize the gap between the suction pipe and the cyclone lid, backflow of dust into the air significantly decreased, and the process of cleaning became much more comfortable. Moreover, it is possible to increase the performance, and the process of cleaning the dust container has become several times easier.
The editorial team of Expertology magazine has studied the situation on the domestic market of home appliances and made its own rating of the 12 best vacuum cleaners with cyclone filters. The criteria for the selection of products in the final list were:
- suction power and power consumption;
- The capacity of the container for dust collection, as well as its technical performance;
- The presence of filters and other design elements that improve the quality of cleaning;
- values;
- user reviews and in-house expertise.

Philips FC9733 PowerPro Expert
Rating: 4.9

The Vacuum Cleaner that has earned the highest ratings from consumers. With a power consumption of 2100 watts, it develops up to 420 watts of suction power, and allows fine adjustments using the regulator on the body. The 2-liter container with cyclone filter has a very successful configuration, in which it takes longer to fill than competitors with similar indicators.
The Philips FC9733 PowerPro Expert also has a special anti-allergenic filter, developed by Philips as an alternative to HEPA. Also note the availability of improved brushes
Advantages
- users’ choice;
- Excellent build quality;
- High performance and adjustable capacity;
- Improved brushes for carpet and parquet;
- allergen-proof filter
Disadvantages
- not found.
Miele SKRR3 B
Rating: 4.8

Thomas DryBox offers a distinctive appearance and improved cleaning performance. A cyclone vacuum cleaner consumes about 1700W of energy and delivers around 300-350W of suction power. At the same time on its body there is a regulator, through which you can adjust the intensity of work and reduce noise.
Even for a dry cleaner Thomas DryBox has more than enough special features. For example, its container has chambers for separate collection of coarse and fine waste. Screening occurs through the communication of these compartments to each other. This approach to filtering makes it perfect for people with a dust allergy. Of the other design nuances should be noted the presence of a soft bumper, the possibility of vertical parking and 3 nozzles in the kit.
Advantages
- container with separation of dust and debris fractions;
- the presence of a soft bumper;
- pleasing appearance;
- Sufficiently high suction power with a regulator on the body.
Disadvantages
- Split container is quite difficult to clean.
Tefal TW7621
Rating: 4.6

You can’t do without Tefal’s ideas, as the commercials of the same name say. We are willing to accept this argument for the cyclone vacuum cleaner TW7621. One of its characteristic features is its ultra-low power consumption (750W) with a suction power of about 250-300W. Yes, in the course of work there are situations when the filling of the cyclone reduces the efficiency of cleaning, but the very fact that the vacuum cleaner is capable of such a situation, indicates a good constructive basis.
The Tefal TW7621 container capacity is 2.5 liters. The air exhaust system has a fine filter without the installation of standard HEPA – people with allergies to dust should be careful. The range of the vacuum cleaner is 11 meters, and this is another plus to the model. Also note the level of operating noise, not more than 67 decibels, but this is the norm for low-power vacuum cleaners.
Advantages
- high efficiency at low power;
- a large radius of action;
- 4 nozzles in the complete set;
- A capacious cyclonic dust collector;
- pleasant design.
Disadvantages
- Not suitable for people with allergies to dust;
- the motor life is not long enough.
Electrolux ZSPC 2010
Rating: 4.5

Another unit with a futuristic design that emphasizes all the working features and build class. The power consumption of the Electrolux ZSPC 2010 is 2000 W, with a suction power of 380 W. It provides a decent quality of cleaning at an average cost to purchase a vacuum cleaner. The power can be adjusted with a rotary knob on the body – however, the manufacturers could have placed it on the telescopic tube as well. After all, how is the ZSPC 2010 worse than the LG VK89682HU?
With all the data to become the best vacuum cleaner in the middle segment Electrolux ZSPC 2010 has driven itself within the limits of the container capacity. 1.6 liters is not enough for such a cool model. And it was possible to introduce the system of automatic baling, which would have solved all the problems with the limited dust collection. Only because of this nuance, this vacuum cleaner could rise to the top places in the ranking. Too bad, but these are the conditions.
Advantages
- The optimum working capacity and the possibility of regulating it;
- nice design;
- improved DustPro brush;
- the best price/reliability ratio.
Disadvantages
- small tank volume for a model of this scale;
- the design is very susceptible to liquids.
ARNICA Tesla
Rating: 4.5

ARNICA Tesla is quite an interesting dry vacuum cleaner. It calmly accepts infiltration of moisture, unlike the same Electrolux ZSPC 2010. Its power consumption is only 750 W, but the suction power can reach 450 W. This is a very interesting combination that looks just perfect, but does more harm than good. But about that at the end of the description. The 3-liter container with fine filter at the outlet of the air pipe fits into the overall picture no less elegantly.
ARNICA Tesla is remarkable because it duplicates the regulator on the body with the similar on the handle. The radius of action reaches 11 meters, and the noise level barely exceeds 70 decibels. We haven’t even talked about the brushes yet! And everything seems to be fine: In terms of all capabilities the vacuum cleaner is not expensive. Alas, its operating life is short-lived. Working to the wear and tear from the very first moment raises doubts about the advisability of monetary investment. This will be a very bright, but very short stretch of its life. Either the motor will break down or the performance will significantly decrease.
Advantages of
- excellent performance;
- The biggest dust canister in the rating;
- the presence of a turbo brush;
- anti-allergenic filters;
- duplicated power regulator.
Disadvantages
- low reliability level.
LG VK89682HU
Rating: 4.4

LG VK89682HU is quite an interesting model of vacuum cleaner with a wide range of characteristics. Despite the small size, its power is 1800 watts, and the suction intensity is at 380 watts. There is a handy power regulator on the handle, so you do not need to bend over to the body.
But you will often shake out the container with a cyclone filter. The fact that the volume of the dust canister is only 1.2 liters – when cleaning a large area is enough for 2-3 cleanings, so that the suction power began to fall. However, LG has equipped the vacuum cleaner with an automatic compression function, which significantly reduces the effect of filling the container. Note also that the VK89682HU is great for allergy sufferers and asthmatics, as it uses a fine filter and HEPA 14.
Advantages
- Small dimensions and good mobility;
- high performance;
- durability;
- The autopressing function in the cyclone.
Disadvantages
- There are problems with the flexible hose – its crumpling and kinks are not rare.
osch BGC 4U2230
Rating: 4.4

Another representative of powerful cyclonic vacuum cleaners with the power consumption of about 2200 watts. Has a high-capacity standard type 1,9-liter bin. The air duct system is made with the use of a fine filter and advanced HEPA 14, therefore Bosch BGC 4U2230 can be safely recommended to people with allergies to dust.
Another nice addition to the model is the presence of a power controller on the body. You can set the suction intensity yourself and thus indirectly reduce the noise level. Note also the presence of the vacuum cleaner technology Easy Clean, but with a “minus” sign. This is nothing more than a marketing ploy, refuted more than once by groups of researchers and experts. If we abstract from the “features”, then in front of us will be a good-quality vacuum cleaner, which can serve for many years without loss of performance.
Advantages
- HEPA 14 filter;
- High power of work and presence of the regulator of suction intensity;
- a high degree of reliability;
- relatively light for its size.
Disadvantages
- “empty” Easy Clean technology;
- high noise level.
KARCHER VC 3 Premium
Rating: 4.3

The German company “Kercher” is one of the market leaders in the segment of equipment for cleaning and cleaning. They are used to giving their devices versatile functionality, and the KARCHER VC 3 Premium is no exception. The power of this unit is only 750 watts, but it does not prevent to produce quality cleaning of any surface. Its working radius is 7.5 meters. In comparison with competitors it is very small, but in view of the small weight (only 4.4 kg) does not cause much inconvenience.
The KARCHER VC 3 Premium dust container has a modest volume of 1.2 liters. The manufacturer recommends cleaning it after each cleaning, but domestic users noted that the cyclone vacuum cleaner does not lose any efficiency, even at 4-5 passes. Another apparent disadvantage of the model is the high noise level of 76 decibels, which is atypical for such low-powered units.
Advantages
- compact and lightweight;
- Suitable for cleaning in cars;
- Gives acceptable vacuuming even at low power.
Disadvantages
- The small container for collecting dust;
- high noise level.
LG VK89380NSP
Rating: 4.2

World’s first vacuum cleaner with particle contraction system.It uses a special compression paddle that compresses debris that enters the compartment. This approach allows 3 times more dust to be vacuumed in the 1.4-liter tank than similar models without a pressure boost mechanism. The dust collector cyclone option provides effective dust separation, ensuring constant power while the vacuum is in use. In other words, because the finest particles are separated from the air and collected in the compression chamber, the airflow freely flows through the cyclone system without clogging it or reducing the unit’s suction power.
Easy and hygienic cleaning of the bin with the Kompressor option has an action close to the ionisation of the air masses. Thus, the air in the room is much cleaner, and it is necessary to empty the dust canister much less often. The Turbo Cyclone function effectively separates the trash and the air, thus ensuring a constantly high suction intensity. LG VK89380NSP power consumption is 1800W.
Advantages
- provides powerful suction throughout the entire cleaning cycle;
- availability of dust compression function;
- compact and ergonomic.
Disadvantages
- no power control.
