Smooth action of the hardened mechanism is ensured by seven bearings, two of which are resistant to corrosion and salt water.
Even in spite of minor marketing flaws Daiwa Emblem Pro 5000 is very popular among anglers. One of these nuances can be considered an incorrect inscription “Mede in Thailand”, which unwittingly sows doubt about the real manufacturer. Nevertheless, not everyone can afford such a purchase – in a few years the cost of a carp reel has more than doubled. But this fact does not prevent a heated discussion on the forums.

In addition, the standard set of carp spool is a spare graphite bobbin, which further reduces the weight of the finished product.
Whatever the true technical level of the carp reel, the cost somewhat cools the ardor of domestic consumers. Not so long ago, the upper price tag of this model barely exceeded 12 thousand rubles, and today it has passed the mark in the sacred 20 thousand. Unprofitable, but very effective when fishing for trophy carp.
