Barbaris Tunberg is one of the types of shrub of the same name. Thanks to the numerous variety of varieties, unpretentiousness in cultivation and attractive appearance, it is quite common to decorate landscapes.
Barbaris Tunberg is a representative of the Barbaris family from the genus Barbaris. Although the area of its natural growth is located in the Far East, where it can be found on the plain, and in the mountainous regions, it also successfully mastered in natural conditions of North America and Europe.
This species is a leaf falling shrub whose height can reach 2.5-3 m. Arcuately inclined branches form a tight ball of spherical shape. The shoots were painted at the beginning of the season in a bright red or orange-red color, then passing into a saturated brown or brown shade. Ribbeds with a ribbed surface have rarely arranged spines with a length of about 1 cm.
Leafs have an oval-rhombid or bladeless shape with rounded or slightly pointed vertex. Different varieties of this species have small leaves (2-3 cm long) can be painted in green, yellow, red or brown.
