Pleet Roses – One of the most attractive species of plants. But correctly grow them quite difficult. Attention is required and agrotechnology, and protection against diseases, pests.
Such a plant as Pierre de Ronsar’s plenty rose looks intriguing. Seeing her for the first time, it’s hard to move the thought that this is some kind of ancient grade. However, in reality, everything is not. Such a culture was introduced first in the mid-1980s, and since 1987 he was registered in the French State Register. Classified “Pierre de Ronsar” as a representative of a climber group with large flowering.
This variety has the following main characteristics:
- Right of shoots – from 1.5 to 3.5 m;
- Flower diameter – from 0.09 to 0.1 m;
- Rose Extension Zone – 1.5-2 m;
- The number of flowers on the stem – up to 13 pieces;
- Thin, not straining emotionally fragrance;
- moderate resistance to winter conditions, to the amazing of mildew dew and black spotlight;
- Optimal landing time – the last days of April and the beginning of May.
Pleet roses “Pierre de Ronsar” form highly developed bushes of high power. Even in the cold areas of Russia, they grow up to 2 m. The description of the grade indicates that near the earth shoots hard, but closer to the upper and lower edges, flexibility grows. When they bloom, stems even bend under load. Boot geometry accurately reproduces the appearance of vintage varieties.
The bud accounts for at least four dozen petals. What is important, their tonality varies in the development process. Soft pink shade dominates. The brighter color is characteristic of the center of the flower, and closer to the edge she pale. If clouds are collected in the sky, the buds will cut partially, but when the sun looks out, they become almost flawless white.
Pretty blossom period. However, in the last days of July and in the first decade of August he is interrupted. After the resumption of flowering, the species turns out less than attractive – the size of the buds decreases. An attractive feature of Pierre de Ronsar is a relatively high resistance to the main floral diseases and harmful insects. The only disadvantage of culture can be considered the weakness of the smell, sometimes it is not at all.
Cultivation and care conditions
Pleet roses, judging by the experience of use, are able to develop 15-20 years. Until now, in France there are bushes landed in the 1980s. Despite the optimal adaptation to the warm Mediterranean climate, even in the middle lane of Russia “Pierre de Ronsar” manifests itself very well. Much depends on the quality of land preparation. Commitable conditions of success are the following:
- open and well-lit terrain;
- smooth relief;
- reliable cover from piercing winds;
- Fertile soil with a good structure.
It is important to remember that the root system of plenty roses can grow up to 2 m in depth, so an attempt to grow them in areas with a high level of groundwater will be wrapped in failure. Alternatively, you can dry the earth or to build a high terrace. It is recommended to make landing pits with a depth of at least 0.5 m. We need to lay out a plot of well-loose loam with high fertility and neutral chemical reaction. The basic measures to care for the already planted plant are reduced to the following:
- systematic irrigation;
- shelter before the winter onset;
- Mineral and Organic Fertilizers.
Among these manipulations are deservedly the most difficult case, it is the shelter before the arrival of cold. In the winter “Pierre de Ronsar” on the support will not survive. It will be more correct to create a decorative building. Very good if she is in itself (without swelling shoots) will attract enthusiastic views.
Attaching a bush to a grinder and his removal must be made extremely gently.
The backups put in advance. They must completely eliminate the touch of a whip and soil. The slightest dampness will result in rotting. A feature of the variety is also the fact that aesthetic advantages are most disclosed in solo format. Therefore, among all places in the garden or in the garden, at the local area, the plots viewed by from everywhere are suitable for stylistic considerations.
Bushes can be formed exactly in the same configuration as supports. To secure a lot of long-length elements, such as:
- separate columns;
- Garden pyramids;
- Standard samples;
- Arched structures.
When the garden is only planned, it is advisable to immediately take a place for “Pierre de Ronsar” about arbors and canopies, best – from the southeast. With this location in the hottest clock, the bushes will create a pleasant shadow. What is important, the plenty plant is little susceptible to the harmful effects of heat, it will not protect against precipitation, but it does not suffer from them. “Pierre de Ronsar” speaks well to making additional feeding. Since the beginning of spring, nitrogen compositions are introduced. Immediately before the blossom comes a queue of mineral fuel. When it is already ends, but still not finally completed, you can add phosphoric and potash mixtures.
Attention should be done and making mulch. The worse the soil on the site, the farther from the optimal values for this variety, the more important mulching. Failure layer ranges from 4 to 6 cm. When it overtakes, all the resulting mass is stirred with the top of the earth. This process needs to repeat another time. The choice of mulch is quite varied, namely:
- manure of various animals;
- dry grass;
- crushed paper;
- garden compost;
To prevent the development of diseases, at the beginning of the growing season and before the arrival of the cold, the plenty rose is carefully treated with a weak mortar of burglar liquid.
As for the supports, they should always exclude the shadow to enter the bush. The original step is to use as a plot of bamboo branches or already developed trees. Trim “Pierre de Ronsar” will have to be the end flowering. This procedure is repeated and in spring.
In the autumn months, removed their shoots, and fresh piglets are shortened only on ¼. From March to May (depending on climatic conditions and actual weather) delete deformed shoots. Big value has a cutting. It depends on the right folding of bushes. Roses with cut partially blossoms bloom much more intense. As you can see, the cultivation of “Pierre de Ronsar” does not require.
As practice shows, Pierre de Ronsar grows perfectly in the regions with any climate. On the shores of the Black Sea, this rose fully reveals its capabilities. No smell can hardly be considered a serious problem, taking into account other advantages. In the Volga region with a skillful approach, the bushes bloom almost all summer. Garters to the fence (without additional chopler) is enough.
Even those gardeners who tried 20 or more varieties cannot call less capricious culture. In the coldest years, the compensation of branches for the winter is compensated by rapid growth and development in spring. Already by the middle of summer, if the weather allows, bloom comes back. But in the 4th climatic zone problems may arise.
If they are exacerbated by improper agricultural engineering or poor seedliness, sometimes bloom does not occur at all.
