The oven is a device without which no self-respecting mistress can do. This instrument makes it possible to bake various products and prepare amazing dishes that can not be prepared anymore. But there are various models of such devices that are very different from each other not only by characteristics and appearance. They also differ significantly at the price. Let’s try to figure out that it gives various indicators of the power of the brass electrical cabinet, and whether it is worth buying a more expensive model.

And this moment will be one of many that will affect the power consumption of the oven, as various types of heating are used here, and additional functions require an increase in energy consumption.

Temperature dependence on power

If we talk about the dependence of the temperature from power, then it should be understood that everything will depend on the methods of programming techniques. For example, if you activate it in a simple working mode, then it will say, will consume 1800 watts. But a number of models have a so-called feature called “Quick Heating”. Usually on the technique itself, it is indicated by the symbol in the form of three wavy lines. If you activate it, then the oven sharply increases the power before, say, 3800 W. But it will be relevant for some specific models.

In general, the connecting capacity of wind cabinets of various manufacturers, today presented in the market, ranges from 1.5 to 4.5 kW. But most often the power of the models will not exceed the indicator somewhere in 2.4 kilowatt. This is enough to ensure maximum cooking temperature at 230-280 degrees Celsius. This level is standard for cooking in wind wardrobes. But more than 2.5 kW devices can be heated to higher temperatures. That is, for them, the indicated indicators are the average temperature. And the maximum will reach up to 500 degrees Celsius. But here, before choosing, you should make sure that the wiring in your home can withstand such a load and it doesn’t burn it elementary as soon as you turn on this mode.

And another moment that should be understood – such a high temperature is not intended for cooking. This temperature is usually needed to remove fat from the walls and the door of the oven. That is, it makes no sense to prepare food at the maximum, since electricity for an hour will spend so much that it will be economically unprofitable. Yes, and the wiring can simply not withstand. For this reason, if you have a brave cabinet that is distinguished by small or small power, it will be better to leave the temperature at 250 degrees and cook a little longer, but you will spend less energy.

Operating modes and energy consumption classes

If we talk about working modes, you should start with such as convection. This option provides uniform overlapping oven before cooking both at the bottom and upstairs. This mode can be called standard, and it is present without exception everywhere. If it is activated, then the food is done at a particular level. In this mode, the fan and the heating part are active, which permanently heat and properly distribute heat.

The second is called “convection + upper and lower heating”. Here the essence of the work is that the operation of the specified elements of heating and fan, which correctly distributes the heated air masses. Here you can cook on two levels.

Third mode – upper heating. Its essence is that in this mode heat will go exclusively on top. It is logical that if it comes to going about the bottom heating mode, then everything will be exactly the opposite.

Next mode – Grill. It is distinguished by the fact that a separate heating element is used for heating under the same name. It has three modes:

  • small;
  • large;
  • turbo.

The difference of all three will be only in different power of heating of this element and the corresponding heat release.

Another option – grill with convection. Its essence is that not only grill is involved, but also convection regime that work, replacing each other. And the fan will be active, evenly distributing the heat being created.

In addition, there are two more modes – “Upper heating with convection” and “bottom heating with convection”.

And one more option – “accelerated heating”. Its essence is that it allows you to quickly improve the oven. It should not be used to prepare dishes or food. This mode simply allows you to save time. But not always electricity.

Do not confuse the previous mode with “fast warming up”. This option is intended for heating the space of the whole oven area inside. This mode is also not used for cooking food. That is, both modes can be described as technical.

Another working mode has the name “Pizza”. This option allows the preparation of pizza literally for a couple of revolutions of the minute arrows. But it can also be used for cooking cakes and other similar dishes.

The “tangential cooling” option is intended to accelerate the cooling of not only the device, but also spaces inside. It gives the opportunity not to fog glass inside, allowing you to watch cooking food.

Fan mode makes it possible to accelerate the drop in the temperature inside the brass cabinet.

The penultimate function of which I want to say is the “timer”. This function is that, knowing the exact temperature of the preparation for the recipe and the necessary time, you can simply put the dish to prepare, and after the desired time, the oven will turn off by notifying the user about it using the beep.

At this time, the hostess can do some kind of deeds and not be afraid that food will not prepare either burn.

Last, what I want to say, ending the topic of modes of work – “Three-dimensional cooking”. The peculiarity of this regime is that the steam is applied to the oven for a special three-dimensional stream, due to which the food is not only well prepared, but also saves all useful and nutritional properties.

Speaking about the classes of energy consumption, it should be said that the technique in the stores presented for today in stores is divided into models of groups A, B, C. There are also categories D, E, F, G. But these models are already not produced.

In accordance with the gradation described, the energy consumption group may be in the range from the maximum cost-effective value to the conditionally economical. The most beneficial in their energy seats will be models marked with letters a + and a ++ and above.

If we say in general, the power consumption classes in power have such values:

  • A – less than 0.6 kW;
  • In – 0.6-0.8 kW;
  • C – up to 1 kW;
  • D – up to 1.2 kW;
  • E – up to 1.4 kW;
  • F – up to 1.6 kW;
  • G – more than 1.6 kW.

For comparison, we note that the average power of gas models will be up to 4 kW, which, of course, will be very unprofitable in terms of resource consumption. All electrical models will have power up to 3 kW.

What is influenced by?

It should be taken into account that the embedded technique will consume significantly more energy than a separate device rather than. The average embedded option will consume about 4 kW, and autonomous – no more than 3.

AND do not underestimate the factor of power as such, because quite a lot depends on it.

  • The amount of electricity will depend on the power, which is consumed as a result, account for electricity consumption at the end of the month. The more powerful the oven, the more expense.
  • Models that have a higher power will cope with cooking faster than some low-power models. Spending on light decrease, as stated above.

How to save electricity?
