This operating system is good for an old computer or notebook and for the undemanding user who does not want to retrain to use the Modern interface.
Windows 10
In Windows 10, Microsoft has updated the mechanics of interacting with hardware and managing background processes. That is why it was able to achieve greater performance and cost-effectiveness. Nevertheless, the transition to the interface and application execution environment Modern (also called Metro in early versions) has led to a slight complication of interaction with the system.
Thus, the pros of Windows 10:
- Virus protection at the system level;
- Excellent mechanics of interaction between the operating system and “iron”;
- Support for the latest technologies such as DirectX 12;
- Regular updates.
The disadvantages are as follows:
- Lack of logic, not always familiar interface;
- Large number of background processes, including telemetry, that load up the processor;
- Incompatibility with old drivers and equipment.
As a consequence, Windows 10 is a good operating system for a laptop, modern computer (including gaming or specialized), “hybrid”, etc.d. But it is worth remembering that if you move to it from the “seven” or even older versions, you will have to retrain.
