Pear Northerdha – unpretentious and high-yielding grade, which was created specifically for cultivation in regions with adverse climatic conditions. The frost-resistant plant gives high yields over the years, and juicy fruits have a universal purpose. The rich microchemical composition of pears, the absence of glucose in them and a small amount of calories make it possible to use fruit to people with complex chronic diseases.

History of removal

Pear Northerkhan – a high-yielding grade, which was derived by the breeder-practitioner Yakovlev. N. Works were carried out in the All-Russian Research Institute of Genetics and Selection of Fruit Plants. AND. IN. Michurina. The grade was obtained as a result of crossing the following varietal species:

  • Pear Ussuriyskaya;

  • Bere Ligel;

  • Favorite Clappa.

Initially, the plant was called in honor of her creator and was called Seyanese Yakovleva No. 103, but later it was renamed to Northew. In 1965, the pear was allowed to use, and its seedlings were enrolled in retail.

Northerkank’s small pears have a technical assignment. The surface of cone-shaped fruits with a stupid end is lit and uneven. The average mass of one fruit is about 80 grams, however, there are also specimens weighing more than 110 grams. The color range of fruit depending on their ripeness varies from greenish-yellow to lemon with a pink-ruddy crust. Long fruit is a little indisposed.

Taste qualities

Juicy small pears have a universal purpose. The taste of ripe fruit is sweet with noteclics, and the fragrance is gentle and not saturated. The harvest can be consumed both in fresh and canned form. Due to its low-calorieness, pears are popular in people with overweight, as well as on diet. It should be noted that this fruit does not contain glucose, so it can be used to people suffering from elevated blood sugar.

Ripening and fruiting

Pears of this variety are fully suitable for use in early August. Vintage must be collected until the end of the summer. The structure of the surrefined fruit is extremely unattractive and looks like boiled potatoes. Due to the fact that fruits are poorly stored, farmers recommend to conduct their collection 7-10 days before ripening and immediately remove them into the cold room. This trick will help extend the life of the goods. The grade does not have cyclical in fruiting, so the tree pleases with fruit every year.

Yield

Pear Severghanka belongs to varieties with early ripening. You can get the first harvest in 3-4 years after the rooting of seedlings. A healthy and strong plant at the age of 7-8 years can form up to 50 kg of juicy fruits. The maximum amount of harvest tree gives for 10-11 years of life. In favorable climatic conditions and, with proper care, gardeners often collect up to 90 kg of fruits from one tree.

Regions growing

Despite the fact that the plant perfectly feels in any climatic conditions, yet it is most popular in the regions with a low temperature range. These territories include the Northern, Ural, Volga Regions and the Central Economic District.

Self-duration and the need for pollinators

Pear Severghanka relates to types with low-rise pollinities. To obtain a stable and high-quality crop, the following varieties of pollinators are needed:

  • Memory of Yakovlev;

  • Rogneda;

  • Carmen;

  • Chizhovskaya.

In the absence of external pollinkers, the plant is able to form no more than 30% harvest.

Landing

Despite its versatility, Pear Northerkhan prefers to grow on solar hills with deep groundwater running. The plant negatively applies to strong cold air streams. When choosing a landing site, it is necessary to take into account the fact that the lack of sunlight can provoke a decrease in the amount of harvest, as well as obtaining lower quality fruits.

Due to the long-term growth of the tree in one place, the selected area must have fertile subliban soil.

Young seedlings can be planted both in the spring and autumn period. Site work in spring is better to spend in April, and in the fall – in October. Experienced gardeners are recommended for the formation of the garden to choose shoots whose age is not more than 2 years.

The size of the landing pit is 80 cm per 100 cm. Before the root part of the root part, it is necessary to trim all dry and rotten parts. Experienced practice-practitioners recommend young shoots after landing be sure to pour and climb the roasting zone.

Growing and care

An unpretentious plant does not require increased attention, however, fruit trees require regular trimming, which will allow to switch to the crown and provide access to the sunlight to all formed fruits. Should not also forget about abundant irrigation, as well as the removal of weeds and loosening the roar zone. Plant is very responsive to the introduction of mineral and organic fertilizers.

Special attention should be paid to the preparation of young seedlings to wintering. Trees must be pouring into water, and to the crown to cover the cheese or wrap burlap, which will help protect the bark from rodents.

Resistance to diseases and pests

Unpretentious tree is very rarely exposed to the invasion of pests and diseases. The variety has an increased percentage of resistance. However, despite this fact, the pear can be amazed by microplasma disease, bacterial burn and fruit rot. Practitioner breeders recommend not to forget to carry out regular processing of fruit plantings.
