History of removal

This median grade is derived by breeders on the basis of the Institute of Fruit Garden of Belarus. The variety was based on two popular species – white large and Belarusian. Recommended for the cultivation in the Central and North-West regions of Russia. Recommended for growing fruit shrub on the territory of Belarus, Ukraine, Russia (southern regions, Siberia, Urals).

Description of varieties

The gooseberry of Belarusian sugar refers to the average shrubs growing in height of up to 100, in rare cases up to 150 cm. The bush is compact, neat, well-woofed, endowed with a moderate thickened with gray-green glossy foliage, thin, but flexible branches, as well as severe obvious or double spikes. The period of flowering falls in mid-May. During this period, the shrub is covered with small flower, which are pollinated by insects.

Summer gooseberry (more than 60%), but located additional varieties on the site will not interfere, because due to cross-pollination, the yield indicators may noticeably grow.

Characteristic of berries

Sort refers to large-scale species. The average weight of the gooseberry is 4-8 grams. The berry is correct, a spherical shape with barely elongated base. Landing

Choosing the planting material, it is worth paying attention to the thickness of the escape (at least 5 mm) and the development of the rhizomes (at least 15 cm long).

Growing and care

Growing the gooseberry is recommended on lightweight, drum or squealed soils with neutral or weak acidity. The plot should receive a sufficient amount of light and heat. The plant does not like moisture stagnation, so groundwater should be deeply. Modify the plant with two methods – cuttings or decodes.

The gooseberry requires standard methods of care – watering, feeding, loosening and mulching of the soil, sanitary and aesthetic trimming of branches, as well as protection against insect invasions and disease prevention. In the regions with harsh winters, the plant should be protected from excessive cold – mulching the bush growth zone using branches of ate or husknik.

Resistance to diseases and pests
