Self-duration and the need for pollinators

Prefers fertile soil, better driving, weakly acidic or neutral. Groundwater should be located no closer than 1.5 m from the surface. Choose for currant light, closed from wind space on southern or southwest side.

The best landing time is the last numbers of March or the beginning of September, at the air temperature from +10 degrees. Grokes jump to a depth of 25 cm and bring to 1 kV. M: Superphosphate – 150 g, sulfate potassium – 20-30 g, organic – 4 kg.

Wells make 50×50 cm in size, shed every 0.5 liter of water buckets. Seedling placed under a slope of 45 degrees. The root neck is plugged by 4 cm, puffed up soil and pour out 0.5 buckets. Tops cut off, retaining 3 kidneys over the surface. Mulch peat, dry ground, humus.

Growing and care

The plant needs feeding and regular irrigation. With a long lack of moisture, the leaves begin to fade. Roots are located close to the surface and should not stop for a long time. Excessive overvolding will lead to the appearance of rot. Watering is carried out throughout the season, with the exception of rainy periods, approximately by half. Wine watered in October: approximately 20-30 liters of water on the bush.

Feed it over the season 3 times, the yield and disease resistance may decrease without fertilizer. In the spring, nitrogen additives are used: in March – ammonic nitrate, urea, bird litter or korovyan, they are bred in water and watered, after the end of flowering, potassium makes 5-7 g, superphosphate – 10 g and the organic, after removing the crop – comprehensive fertilizers or nitroammophos.

Currant must be cut periodically, removing old and damaged shoots, the side is also removed. Zagazi are formed on four-year and five-year-old branches, six-year twigs cut out annually. In the summer of a macushkin of a young increase pinch. Permissible culture culture on a set.

The greatest danger is a word, to destroy insects they are treated with a solid of wood ash. Before the appearance of buds for the prevention of pest attacks spray burgundy liquid. With irregular care, immunity culture decreases somewhat.

Inclined to be amazed by terrain. The sick plant will have to destroy. Virus carriers may be insects: bugs, wave, ticks. Therefore, when the first signs of the disease, it is necessary to start struggling with them. The affected areas are removed, the plant and the ground are treated with biological preparations: “Lepiocid”, “Bitoksisbacillin”.

Resistance to adverse climatic conditions

Winter-hardy view, withstand temperatures up to -25 degrees. In regions with a lower winter temperature, culture is recommended to cover. At the end of September or beginning of November, cropped bushes flex to the soil and press board. If the temperature is likely to reduce the temperature to -35 degrees, the currants bury. From spring frosts can be covered with paper or agricultural. Nice tolerate short-term drought.
