The excellent taste properties of large fruits of this culture, along with a number of other indisputable advantages, made it extremely popular and among professionals, and among lovers of gardeners. Speech will go about the gooseberry Consul.
History of removal
Culture was the result of hard work in. Ilina, Employee of the South Ural Fruit Research Institute. They began in the 1980s, but in the State Register it was listed only in 1995. Other Consul Name (Senator) – Ribes Uva-Crispa Konsul.
A variety of Chelyabinsk Green and African was used in obtaining a new type. From them, the novice inherited a high degree of tolerance to low temperatures, and the resistance to other whims of nature. The species is intended for cultivation in the Urals, Volga-Vyatsky, West Siberian, Far Eastern regions of the country.
Appointment of the fruit of the consul universal.
Description of varieties
Cultural bushes are stripped (180-200 cm), well-wooled, with thickened crowns, including non-combat branches of dark green shades. Shoots direct or slightly curved, greenish and unreamened with low eyelands in middle parts of plants. Sheet plates are concave or curved, with shortened cloths, small sizes, greenish collequers, multilave configuration with explicit wrinkleness. Kidney oval configuration, slightly rejected from the barrel, light brown shades. Culture flowers Middle, slightly elongated, pink shades.
From the advantages of culture, we note:
high degree of yield;
relative compactness of bushes;
extremely small spontaneousness of shoots;
large size of fruits;
excellent taste properties;
long period of fruiting;
Resistance to drought and strong heat;
Resistance to diseases and pest attacks.
Culture does not tolerate drafts;
Low berry carrier.
Characteristic of berries
Fruits rounded configuration, large (3.3-6.5 g). Color intense red, and with full ripening – blacks. A characteristic feature of berries is a small number of seeds and the presence of fine and tender peel. Thanks to this high-quality combination of fruits, excellent jam is obtained, but the possibilities for transportation remain low. Saturated consistency, somewhat transparent.
By himsostav, fruits contain: sugars – 6.7%, acids – 3.1%; Vitamin C – 25.7 mg%.
For taste properties, fruits are pleasant, dessert, sweet-sour with a thin aroma. Tasting score in points – 4.7.
Ripening and fruiting
Culture of medium aging timelines, fruiting occurs since the end of July to mid-August. The aging period is stretched.
High-yielding culture – above 41.0 c / ha (6 kg with bush).
The timing of the spring plant landing is usually falling on March or the first days of April. Oriented here on the air temperature, which should be no lower than + 4 … 6 degrees Celsius. With a spring landing, it is not worth late, because it must be done until the village is in a state of rest (even a small delay can lead to the fading of shrubs). For this reason, it is usually preferred to trees with closed roots.
In the autumn bushes, it is 4-1.5 months before the emergence of sustainable cold. More often, this time falls on the end of September or the first days of October. At the same time, the minimum distance between bushes should be maintained at least 1.5 m. Approximately the same distance is observed before fences. Choosing a place on a plot for disembarking this sunlumular culture, you should follow the southern or southeastern part of the land, where there are no drafts.
Coustics landing algorithm is typical. At the same time, the upper layers of the soil are stacked at the bottom of the landing deepening (at least 50 cm depth) and additionally feud
compost or humus (1 bucket);
superphosphate granulated (20-30 g);
Woodwash (1 l).
All ingredients are mixed and the remaining earth is filled up to half the level of the well. Directly disembarks produced in 10-12 days, after the soil sedimentation.
Saplings are placed in the central part of the wells, under a small angle, neatly distributing the roots. Capping a bustard, carefully tamper the soil and produce heavy irrigation. The final procedure is the pruning of shoots, each of which we recommend crushing by 4-5 cm.
Growing and care
Culture is quite drought-resistant, requiring the season to 3 irons in the most necessary periods of growth:
in spring, during intensive growth of shoots;
At the end of flowering;
for 14-21 days before full aging of berries.
When caring for bushes, adhere to a number of features.
Irrigation is carried out guard, with a flow rate of 2-3 buckets on one bush. With subsequent mandatory loosening and mulching of soil the next day.
Since the culture of culture in the spring opens early, the pruning procedure is more expedient to carry out in the autumn (annually). For the first year of the growth of additional trim, except for triggering shoots, not required when landing.
For the 2nd year after disembarking, from shoots that grew up for the summer, leave 4-5 the most healthy and conveniently located. All weak branches are less than 20 cm and branches, sprouted horizontally around the earth itself. Left healthy shoots for more efficient growth are shortened to 30 cm.
In the future, the process of trimming becomes more careful – it reduces to the elimination of new and weak shoots that appeared near the earth.
At the end of the 5th year of growth, old branches eliminate. They are usually somewhat darker in color and tilted from the middle of the busta book.
At the entire starting year, disembarking bushes quite grabs fertilizers that are laid in the landing deepening. Starting next year, the feeding should be exercised every year.
At an early spring, shrubs need nitrogenous additives to activate development (perfectly suitable for induction or nettle). Productive sealing in the near-breaky space of bushes will be 100-150 g of dry urea. Nitrogen additives are brought throughout the season (until mid-August), with pauses in 10-12 days.
During the bootonization, culture is supported by phosphorus (superphosphate, ammonophos). Well bushes respond to extractive phosphate feeding.
In order to prepare bushes by winter in September, phosphorus-potash additives are produced, which increases the stability of plants to frost.
Eco-friendly fertilizer is a mulching straw coating (from sides or young weeds). Gradually rotting, it powers the soil by organic.
Resistance to diseases and pests
Culture has a high protective immune potential, and therefore the trade processing of bushes by various chemicals is not necessary. Competent cropping of bushes, proper irrigation and feeding will become the effective prevention of any diseases and permit attacks.
Resistance to adverse climatic conditions
The consul is able to perfectly endure the most severe winters, and therefore in the course of cultivation in any regions of the country adult bushes on the eve of the winter period is not required. For young people in the first year, landing as insurance against freezing, the nearby spaces are covered with mulch.
