Hayedor violets: variety description, planting and care

SENPOLIA, which are most often called violets, are among the most common houseplants. The club of their fans is replenished every year, which causes breeders to withdraw all new and new varieties. So, in 2011, a surprisingly beautiful variety of le-iceedor was represented.

Description

Le Ishedora is a violet with light pink or white flowers. Distinctive feature – the presence of contrasting spots of purple and dark lilac shades. Such a flower looks very decorative, so it can serve as an decoration of any residential or office space. The variety was bred by the famous Ukrainian breeder of Elena Lebetsk. She described flowers as “semi-world”. Let us dwell on more on the varietal characteristics of this unusual violet.

Bloom

Flowerines are short and dense, each has about 4-6 buds. They stay in this state for quite a long time, at least 2 weeks take place for full disclosure. Color – Light, only blossomed petals have a pronounced green edging, which disappears several days later.

Power socket

The kettlet of the violet varieties of “Isadora” has medium sizes and standard shape. Sheet plate flat. Reproduction occurs with the help of shifting. This method allows to increase fertility of SENPOLIA. “Isadora” refers to selectively derived varieties, therefore can have sports (the appearance of flowers, unusual in this form).

To avoid such an unpleasant phenomenon, several outlets should be brought to flowering.

Leaves

Semi-natural leaves. The shade varies from the middle to the dark green. Round side has a pronounced pink color. The variety is inconspicuous. The shape of the leaf plates of the heart, the edges have gear roots, because they look a little awesome.

Growing conditions

In order for Senpolia to please you with his bloom as longer, it is necessary to create comfortable conditions for it. It should be noted that Uzambar violets are characterized by a rather capricious temper, so a lot of time is required to care.

Temperature

Violet “Iceedor” is distinguished by special thermalidity. Therefore, in the room where it lives should be maintained at any time of the year the air temperature at the level of 22-24 degrees during the daytime and 18 degrees – in the night. Only in such conditions, SENPOLIA will grow healthy and strong, and will also please you with abundant bloom. Temperature regime Below to this mark categorically invalid.

The plant is poorly tolerates drafts, so it should not be placed next to the frequently opening windows and doors.

Lighting

For full growth and development, the flower requires at least 12 light hours a day. If the plant is experiencing a shortage of light, it grows very poorly. In the regions where it is impossible to achieve the required insolation, it is impossible to further highlight SENPOLIA with special phytolams of the yellow spectrum.

At the same time, direct sunlight on sockets should be avoided. If the lighting is excessive, the leaves will be devastated, and the risk of burns will appear. That is why the best and western windows are considered optimal places to accommodate “Isadors”. On the north side of the plant lacks light, especially in the cold season. On the southern windowsill, the flower becomes a victim of the scorching sun. However, you can slightly pronounce a window, for example, stick a reflective film or curtain light tulle. The light will be scattered, and the violet will feel comfortable.

Watering

Like any other sensipolia, “Iceedor” loves regular, but moderate watering. It is recommended to moisturize the land 2 times a week in the warm season, and during the rest of the plant (from October to February) the number of polishes can be reduced to one. Excess of moisture, like its deficit, has the most detrimental effect on the violet, leading to the fading of the leaves and the absence of flowering.

For watering should be used soft water room temperature. If you use water from under the tap, it is predefined for 3-4 days. Watering should be extremely neat – it is important not to fall on the leaves and the point of growth. Otherwise, the plant will begin to rot and will die soon. For Irrigation, “ISedors” use several ways:

  • Water supply from above – To do this, use a can with a long thin spout;
  • Moisturizing through the pallet – In this case, the pot with violet is left in tanks with water for 15-30 minutes, after which the pallet liquid is completely drained;
  • Fityl – here watering is produced droplet due to the cord, one end of which is lowered into the water, and the other is cheered into the substrate.

The plant loves humidity, but spray air is better at a short distance from the flower. In addition, you can periodically include a moisturizer in the room or simply put a water container near the violet.

Subordinate

SENPOLIA “ISEDOR” requires regular feeding. It is necessary to fertilize it with mineral and organic compositions. Timely supply of nutrients causes intense year-round flowering. It is recommended to introduce feeders every two weeks, however, depending on the life phase of the plant, fertilizer composition should be changed. So, for young violets, funds with elevated nitrogen content are suitable (it is responsible for the rapid growth of green mass).

At the stage of formation of buds and flowering, the amount of nitrogen must be minimized, and the main emphasis on potash and phosphate feeding.

How to plant?

Different varieties of sensipolia require different soils, but the general requirement is the air permeability of the soil, since the roots of any violet need access of oxygen. If we speak specifically about I SEEDOR, then it prefers a soil containing peat, as well as perlite vermiculite and unwound charcoal. It will be useful to add a little moss of Sfagnum (it acts as a natural antiseptic, has a pronounced antifungal and antibacterial effect).

For SENPOLIA, small and narrow pots are suitable. The optimal option is a container with a diameter of 10-12 cm with low-side. If the container is less, then the roots will be closely, which will cause a fading of the plant. However, an excessive volumetric pot is also a thing – the fact is that in the land that is not covered by roots, it begins a fever, which leads to the appearance of fungal infections, as well as rotting the roots.

It is better to use ceramics or clay vessels: their porous structure provides an influx of oxygen and thereby contributes to the full development of violet.

SENPOLIA does not like transplancies, but if the plant has grown, then it becomes closely in the tank. In this case, the pot should be changed to a more voluminous. Keep in mind that in contrast to many other plants that require regular update of the upper layer of the Earth, here such measures can lead to the smallest consequences. The root system of SENPOLIA is located shallow, so an attempt to update the substrate layer entails injury to the roots.

Depending on the purpose of the transplant, it can be conducted in two main ways.

  • Full substrate replacement – This is a forced measure when the plant fell ill or the quality of the Earth has deteriorated over time (if it has become too solid and poorly misses moisture). In this case, the flower is neatly taken out of the pot, carefully clean the roots from the adhered ground, cut off all dead elements, and the cutting places are treated with ash. After that, the violet is placed in a pot with a new soil.
  • Turning – Required in a situation where the plant needs a more volumetric pot. In this case, the violet gets together with an earthen room and placed in a new pot with a prepared drainage layer. Formed voids fill in a new soil so that the growth point is at the ground level.

Reproduction

“Iceedor” can be multiplied by leaves and rosette cuttings. In the first case, the healthiest sheet is selected, which is cut along with a camp. Keep in mind that it is worth taking only the bottom sheets, the top for breeding is not suitable. On the cutter form a slanting cut, leave half an hour to push, after which it is placed in a glass with a leg down and sent to a well-lit place. As soon as the roots appear, the sheet moves to the substrate so that the rooting continues in it.

Reproduction with cuttings has similar technology. Carefully removed the outlet is kept in water tanks, and after the appearance of the first roots, it is planted for a permanent place.
