Description of the remedy Cyston

Cyston is a herbal remedy prescribed in the complex treatment of urolithiasis and cystitis. It prevents concrements and removes small stones. Available only in tablet form by Himalaya Drug Company, India.
Biologically active components within the composition give several effects at the same time. Cystone has a diuretic, litholytic, antimicrobial, antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory effect.
The drug contributes to the normalization of the crystal-colloid balance in kidney pathologies, controlling the absorption of diamine from the intestine. The drug slows down the formation of concrements by reducing the content of calcium, oxalic acid, hydroxyproline in the urine. It is these substances provoke the appearance of stones. At the same time, Cyston increases the concentration of those elements that slow the calcification process.
The herbal drug affects the mucin, thereby contributing to the grinding of the concrements and reducing the concentration of mineral components in them.
Litolytic action of the remedy depends on the acidity of the urine. Cyston relaxes the muscles of the bladder, has a diuretic effect, due to which the removal of crystals of phosphate, urate, oxalate and small stones from the organ occurs.
The composition of the drug contains the following elements:
Bicarboniferous stalk – diuretic action;
Marena leucifolia – dissolves oxalates, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, helps the excretion of stones without surgery;
Stonecrop lingualis – has diuretic and antimicrobial effects;
rhizomes of wheatgrass – analgesic, diuretic effect;
Onosma inflorescens – analgesic, antispasmodic, sedative action;
Vernonia ash – antispasmodic and antimicrobial effect;
Shilajit – tonic effect;
Lime silicate – diuretic effect for urinary retention and other disorders.
Bactericidal and bacteriostatic effect of the product is expressed against Pseudomonasaeruginosa, Klebsiella and other gram-negative bacteria. This effect has a positive effect on therapy for infectious diseases of the genitourinary system.
Research and effectiveness
Cyston is recommended for use in urolithiasis as an anti-inflammatory, especially in the presence of dysuric disorders. Experience in using the drug for children shows positive results.
Prolonged treatment with Cyston leads to the elimination of the inflammatory process, an increase in the volume of the bladder and improvement in the indicators in the urinalysis.
