Split air conditioners in houses and apartments have long supposed window. They now enjoy the greatest demand. Moreover, modern air conditioning has become and fan heater in the cold season, replacing the oil radiator.

What is part of the split air conditioner?

The internal unit includes air filter, a fan and a coil with a radiator, in the pipeline which circulates Freon. In the external block there are compressor and the second coil, as well as a condenser that contributes to the transformation of freon from the gas back to the liquid.
In all types and varieties of air conditioners, Freon absorbs heat during evaporation in the evaporator of the indoor unit. He also gives it back when condensation in the condenser of the external block.
Split air conditioners are based on type and power:
- with the wall internal block – up to 8 kilowatts;
- with outdoor ceiling – up to 13 kW;
- cassette type – up to 14;
- Column and channels – up to 18.
Rare varieties of split-air conditioners are considered central and systems with an external block, putting on the roof.
So, in the serpentine (circuit) circulates evaporating and condensable freon (refrigerant). And internal and external blocks are equipped with fans – to absorb heat in the room and reset it to the street several times faster. Without fans, the evaporator of the inner block would quickly scored a serpent with ice plugs from the same freon, and the compressor work in the outer block would stop. The purpose of the manufacturer is to reduce power consumption and fans, and the compressor – they are consumed more than the other blocks and nodes.

However, in both blocks there is a heat exchanger. He accelerates the heat or cold. It is made as big as possible – how much the main space of the block allows.
“Track”, or a copper tube connects an external block with internal. All of them in the system two. The diameter of the tube for gaseous freon is somewhat larger than for liquefied.
Each of the elements and functional units of the air conditioner is important for its clear and efficient operation. Maintaining them all in good condition – the guarantee of the air conditioner for many years.
Due to low voltage, if it fell, for example, from chronic summer overloads up to 170 volts (from regular 220), the compressor will not turn on. Air conditioning will work like a fan. Disconnect it from the network and wait until it rises at least up to 200 volts: the compressor allows 10% of the ordinary deviation. Lack of freon
Freon is slowly evaporated through microscopic bars in connections appearing over time. The reasons for the lack of freon are several:
- Factory marriage – submooling freon initially;
- a significant increase in the length of inter-block tubes;
- during transportation, inactive installation struck;
- The serpent or tube was originally defective and quickly proud.
As a result, the compressor is overlooked, trying to catch up with the pressure that is impossible to achieve. The internal unit continues to blow warm or weakly cooled air.
Before additional refueling, all pipelines are verified for the presence of a break: if the freon evaporates, it will be possible to detect immediately. Found shave searched. Then exercise vacuuming and re-refueling the freon contour.
Due to drying, the generation of the entire lubrication bearings crack and creak, when the propeller is still spinning, – then scattered finally. The propeller can scare. It often happens when the outdoor or inner block cools too dirty, dusty air. From the layers of dust and discharged bearings, the propeller hurts for the details located nearby (body, grilles and t. If bearings are intact, the suspicion falls on the winding. Over time, they burn out: enamel varnish lacquer darkens, cracks and sees, emergency closures appear. Fan finally “gets up”. Problems in the board (lulled contacts of switching relays, power transistor keys burned down) can also be the perpetrators of breakage. Faulty engine and / or propeller change. Relays and keys on the control board – too.

It allows air conditioner to switch to room heating mode and back. Air conditioner info panel (LEDs, display) will not report such a breakdown, but air conditioning, on the contrary, can blow only hot air. If the exact same valve is found – it is completely removed. The heating function disappears with it.
Zakped because of the inability to reach the cooler Freon will deprive you cold. But the breakdown will indicate the icing of one of the tubes leading to the inner block.
The compressor works almost continuously. Remove the blockage can be removed by compressed air or hydraulic pumping.

Fans work without cooling. The compressor either cried, or broke electrical capacitors, which play the role of a start-uplifting scheme, or damaged the thermorel, protecting the compressor from overheating. Replacing all these parts for any user.
Three sensors: at the entrance, the outlet of the indoor unit and the overall, checking the temperature in the room. Here are two options: the compressor turns on or off rarely. An experienced master will immediately suspect a breakdown of these thermistors, giving an empty signals. As a result, the room moves or is coolly cooled.

If their replacement did not give anything, the suspicion falls on a faulty processor – wines all aging of a semiconductor chip, firmware errors, microcracks in the nanostructure of chip and in the most multilayer board.
