What and why need?

Miscellaneous structures are made of polycarbonate: trading pavilions, balcony canopies, entrances for entrances, garden, farms and greenhouse facilities, exhibition galleries, construction frames and stationery complexes, hangars for cars and many other buildings.

Conventional UP profiles are released width, a multiple number of 2.1, that is, 2.1, 4.2 and 6.3 meters. The end profile for polycarbonate UP-4, -6, -8, -10 is produced in packages of 50 units, UP-16 – 30 units.

Polycarbonate are divided into monolithic, cellular and cast. They produce sheets of different thickness from 4 to 10 mm, 16 and 25 mm, weighing from 0.8 to 1.7 kg according to GOST R 567-2015.

  • Face profiles with a thickness corresponding to polycarbonate;

  • For cellular polycarbonate panels 4 and 6 mm thick;
  • Profile for tape overhead 8-10 mm;
  • polycarbonate profile (P-shaped) for 8 mm panels; 10 mm and 16 mm with a standard width of 2100 mm.

Aluminum profiles with rubber seals are used for coatings of heated premises and large architectural structures with panels thick from 16 to 25 mm: these are pools, covered arbors, sports facilities.

A more durable aluminum end profile is mounted in monolithic panels in size 8-25 mm. Installation is made by fasteners (self-pressing) with a diameter of 20 mm with a thermoshaba of metal, sometimes from polycarbonate. Fastening of parts through with a distance between them 500 mm; 800 mm in use to panels with a thickness of 8-10 mm; 16 mm.

Installation

The installation scheme of polycarbonate sheets with the use of end profiles is indicated by the manufacturer on the outside of the construction sheet, on the protective transport film, and can also be clarified by the seller.

To properly install and reliably mount the design, it is necessary to act on the established procedure:

  • Cellular polycarbonate to be laid on the bearing base, copold self-tapping screws and fix the thermal washer;
  • Sheets connect from above and bottom with a circular profile, closed with a lid and roofing screw;
  • Next measure and cut off with a non-footing knife the end profile of the desired length, the ends are cleaned to a smooth state;
  • From the end side of the polycarbonate, it is necessary to stick to the leaf at the top of the sealing tape, down – perforated (with a pitched, facade and arched object);
  • In the profile for the outflow of condensate, holes are made in increments of 30-40 mm;
  • The sealant is fixed symmetrically relative to the middle of the end, then the profile that is reliably put on the edge of the panel;
  • It follows from a low margin between the inner wall and the end (3 mm);
  • Leave the clamp of the edge of the cellular polycarbonate sheet in the profile of 15-17 mm;
  • To connect monolithic panels, use aluminum connecting end profile, clamp of the edge of a sheet of at least 20 mm.
